Rite of Kate

—Team—

Kaeridwyn Eftelya

I make work to transform the moment through story, imagery, or sound.
I’ve performed in theatres, schools, street corners and under bridges in Canadia, India & the UK. I often draw on traditional tales or history & the work takes on a life of its own during the creative process. Layers of sound, movement and objects create something new.

My reative focus was long on the nature of home, but now is turning to women and our experience in the world. This is coupled with a strong sense of ritual and a penchant for the fantastic.

Jen Quinn

Grounded in feminism, visual storytelling and new play development, her work tends towards intimate performances and non-traditional spaces. Different styles, forms and mediums merge and mix, often in immersive installation design. Whenever possible she uses recycled materials and makes eco-conscious decisions regarding the design and execution of her productions.

Owen Hills

Multi-instrumentalist & songwriter, Owen’s music draws on English folk, Americana & blues, and minimalist drones, employing analog recording techniques. Owen often collages folk motifs in his songs or lyrics, giving them new life in a different form. As a soloist he is known as Wooden Spoon, and plays with Kaeridwyn in their duo, Voice of the Turtle.
